Since its founding in 1842, creations of the Christofle Maison have been symbols of luxury and elegance, chosen to grace the dining rooms of the aristocracy as well as royalty such as King Louis-Philippe and Emperor Napoleon III. Malmaison is one of Christofle's most historic patterns. Launched in 1967, it typifies the Empire style, with its frieze of delicate palm and lotus leaves and symmetrical design.
