Description

This Kirk Repousse berry or serving spoon is 9 7/8" long and weighs 140 grams. The spoon's handle on the front is entirely covered with repousse decoration, and that decoration extends down the rim on both sides of the bowl, that is, it has decorated shoulders. These pieces of Repousse are relatively rare. This spoon came to me in excellent condition, but it has been lightly buffed I think in it's recent past. Still, if you want a nice gift-ready piece of Repousse, this is both in great condition and a versatile serving piece. On the back, the spoon is stamped 509A, S Kirk & Son Inc, sterling, and 925/1000.
