Description

This is a memento spoon from the Revolutionary Era. It is a reproduction of the silver serving spoon presented by General de Rochambeau to the wife of the Deputy Governor of Rhode Island in thanks for their hospitality. It can be used as a serving spoon, as the original purpose was a stuffing spoon. It can also be displayed as the lovely piece that it is. It has never been used and is in the original box.
